Valentines Family Party 2012
February wouldn’t be complete without the WMS Valentines Family Party! This annual event is the school’s biggest fundraiser, and a wonderful party, too. This year was no exception. We had a delicious potluck dinner, and activities to keep everyone busy and happy. There was the Silent Auction and wine raffles for the adults, classroom theme baskets, a penny sale and a twoonie toss for the children. The ever popular lucky dip, face painting and tattoos made their appearance, but the children could also try their hand at the fishpond, build with duplo, or express their creativity making pottery. A DJ provided music, and Calvin the magician kept the audience spellbound as usual. A big thank you goes to Laura and her planning committee. Happy Valentines Day!
